I'd like to see the finished product. Should I be offended at the "squaking" chicken/bird? heh... honestly I've been somewhat inspired by you in the way that you just draw whatever the hell you feel like any chance you get. I envy your dedication (whether you see it as such) to your art and the fact that you frequently post your work online, inviting all sorts of comments, not to mention taking the time to respond to those comments. "So thanks," she says with a smile.

these 4 small doodles werent good enough to post individually so i spliced them all into one post. the squawking birdman was "pre(thinking that artsy hasnt shown up lately)" the order was birdguy, mexican wrestler cowboy, girl with tv thoughts, then the aged black man. i believe i was thinking about the assumption i had that you were a guy. also i was thinking that you hadnt been around lately, and was that a comment on the recent quality or lack thereof etc. neurosis eh? er... not that i hang on your every word... heh. ill try to finish that other thing tonight.

I've been looking at this a little more and I have to say that I agree with your decision to post them all together rather than as 4 individual drawings. Collectively they are stronger and more interesting than on their own. Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, so you know, my not being around lately is not "a comment on the recent quality or lack thereof." Just as you don't "hang on my every word," I'm not glued to your website... heh. But don't worry, I always come back for more...

I don't know if you are familiar with a bay area artist by the name of Heidi Brueckner? She was a former professor of mine. Some of her subject matter reminds me of your work, your paintings to be more precise. If your interested you should check out her website. www.heidibrueckner.com Her online gallery is nowhere near as extensive but you can get the idea about her work. She does some really beautiful things. You might get a kick out of it. Let me know what you think...
