how do you get the background to fade into the various colors (like the goldenrodish color here)?

that is watercolor. one of those watercolor cake travel sets. i put a big dab of concentrated watercolor down then load the brush up with water and smudge it around till it blends down then out.

Hey man ive been pondering in some of your drawings you put "y tu y tu" now in spanish that means and you and you. What is that about man?
