I'm very pleased that you chose to isolate the beautifully intricate, thoughtfully done segments of this larger piece. In particular, every time I've seen this drawing in its entirety I've just been drawn to the bound feet. I'd have to say it's my favorite part of the piece. Seeing this image of a constricted foot, bound so tightly it feels as though it may suddenly pop, intrigues me. The way in which it is rendered feels so powerful, I can imagine what it would feel like to have my own feet bound so tightly. I hope that makes sense.
