left work early, went and cleaned out studio. ill bring home paintings tommorrow and i can photograph that newest one. built another massive study guide thing. this one is 24pgs so far. not like pure text, just pictures with titles. she floods us so with images for knowing. its kinda harsh compared to what i and others are used to.

uh huh. ok woke up to dog barking. we cleaned up and got out of davis. a bad 5car or so wreck made a 15min drive an hour+. i didnt study much at all for arth test on wed. i just cant get into it.

ok the house is an art lovers dream. every book you can imagine on the discussion of art theory is here. every where a book could fit there is one. ive been reading a little bit of "2000 years of wall writing: graffitti" by robert reisner. its prety interesting discussion of some of the reasons shawn and i seem to be well, writing on the walls, though as obvious as they may be it only struck me as such after i read this authors theories in part. some of the identity issues he was tlkaing about do reflect his 1971 viewpoint.. ooh saw spiderman today. we were wandering around downtown davis and just came upon a cineplex. neat-o.

may 17th
went to jobsite then to work. printed stuff and did other stuff, nothing too memorable. went over to steph's after work. we are babysitting a house in davis for the weekend.

crit. the painting went over well. though surprisingly noone knew what pedantic meant. (it says pedantic bragger) in the bubblet. i think ive found the style i like. though now im through with painting for along while. i ahve one last painting i want to do, but as i see it right now. thats it. hopefully what ive been doing on canvas will translate to copper ok.

last art history class woohoo! early american art history is so dry. im much more of a 1900-now kinda guy. talked to arth teacher after calss. i guess she doesnt hate us after all. antagonism.

dad made a huge breaky for us/mom. ate then went back to sleep for along while. steph had to leave so i could get work done. completely vented client comput0. dremel'd it all wide and breezy.

ran errands, picked up mom something for mom's day. setph and i woke up early and still ended up with a late start. just kinda mellow day. lindsay came home today. dada and her are goign to a "friends of the NRA meeting tonight" picked up a client computer.

typical sunday. i didnt write the paper i was supposed to write today. i left my wallet in steph's purse so i had to drive to vacaville and back to get it. the drive was pleasant though so it really wasnt a big problem.

we got around early, bt still didnt manage to get out of house till late. shawn and steph and i were supposed to goto the city but shawn ended up goign with his gf. steph and i went tot he academy of science they have a skull exhibit. i took lots of photo sso id have more to draw from. we ended up having dinner at north beach pizza, then coffee and torte at cafe greco (also in north beach) its was nice.

a friend of mine died on the 12th. she fell 150ft, to her not-immediate death. from a tree she was trying to protect. that had been canceled for tree-death 3 days prior. i could see her funeral form my house. i didnt go. funerals still arent my bag baby. went to schoo.l ive pissed everyone there off. the entire print class definitely does not want to hear the rumours behind their backs. say it aloud, and sign it. youre an enemy. snide. gallery opening today. drank way too much. then got high on paint fumes. i really must remember to take painting outside before using various spray fixtures and paints on it. hmm. better luck next time doof. got my grad stuff squared away, im just gonna have to be at ssu for one more semester. if i do it right ill get a minor in art history. shawn was tlakign about enrolling in classes as a collaborative group. we work together under the moniker "diversionmary" hence the billboard project is a "dm" project. this website was originally created to be a place for online critiques. but i havent coded the neccesary pages for it. ideally, ppl would send in their pieces (jpg, tiff etc...) and they would have their own galleries... we would all critique them. like suck y composition, nice layering etc. only ppl could not critique unless they submitted something too. so there wouldnt be oddballs p.u.-ing everything. anyway just a thought, now onto the pics. anythign with a 103 pretag is a recent (withing hte last week) pic. here is a stitch.

i got a queen size bed/frame yesterday for free. its ultra nice. dropped steph on her head while horsing around last night, scared us real bad, it bent weird. it still hurts her right now, so she's calling kaiser. i took some pics of other paintings that i ha dforgotten to take pics of. also i skipped jury duty yesterday. ooopsies. i called in time to not get marked absent and get arrested. and i also got a jury duty pardon for one year. the lady on the phone was real nice. today we got out of bed around 2. we had been in bed for 14hrs or some such. just enjoying big bed-ed-ness ;)

today steph and i have been together 11months, keen eh? to top off yesterdays weird day, i went to dinner with kendra whom i have not seen in almost a year, then rearanged my room. i dint get my bed yet though. foudn out my sub was operating @ half bass. so now im hummin' i got a 4 drawer filing cabinet today, picked out the kind of desk i want and made arrangements to get all the sthi out of here that isnt mine. my office is gonna be huge. i eyeball that its about het same square footage as my room give or take. yay big office. told the folks at work abotu the non-graduating thing. everybody seems more sympathetic than i think they should be. after all, its my fault, i shoulda known that it wouldnt be that easy to get out. so, 9 bullshit units. swimmingyogaweighttraining.

what a weird day it has been so far. got a letter from school letting me know that no i am not going to be graduating. im goign to have to challenege 3units @ ssu, then take the rest @ JC. so im right back tot the same place i was 5yrs ago. ugh. crit went good. got lots of complements, some helpful critisicms. my "glaze" went on well, seems to have miscolored part of the inks i used. on top of the base image which was acryllics, oils, paint pens, sharpie, ball point and colored pencil i added a layer or 2 of workable fixative. then several layers of satin finish varnish, then today i put on 3 or 4 coats of clear gloss enamel. this is what it looks like dead on, from any side where light hits it it shines like a mirror. here it is.

bought supermario world: super mario advance 2 it fucking rocks, this game came out like 11years ago. it fucking rocks. ive blown through it till vanilla dome so far tonight. it sure takes me back though. lately ive been grabbing onto everything from 10th grade, whenever a song plays, or say legend of zleda: a link to the past. rocking stuff. i used to come home from HS ( iw as in alph ayear of artquest) and play video games while it rained outside. sitting in my sis's bean bag chair. man, crappy tv, hand me down snes. nothin better. i hope they start poritng a lot of snes games over to gba, like chrono trigger, zelda, the castlevania's, super metroid. ooh, uniracer (dumb game) we went to calistoga today too, it was pretty boring though, we booked early.

i slept till noon, steph's parents were worried and wondering if they should wake me up. ended up comign home and clenaign, i hit a neatfreaker nerve when i got home so i just cleaned the whole room, got 2 pairs new jeans last night and didnt have a drawer to put them in. so i got rid of all my shoes that no longer fit or clothes that dont fit (some were from 9th grade) cleaned my bathroom up too. finished reading the virgin suicides. didnt end up going to sleep till 3 cuase of a moch i got to help me sutdy for my midterm dealie. ended up pulling a poor p3 and boohooing my way to sleep. this whole having-to-push-paper and making-neat-rows-of-numbers-in-excel thing has really got me down. i have to work with my hands, im not going to be happy being a fucking estimator.

went over to steph's her whole lent thing had us goign to pietro's for a halfsies cheese and meat pizza, they had sierra nev. on tap, yumsters. had to go to bed early cause she had a job faire up in woodland the next morning early, she got pink slipped from her HS, they mismanaged their budget and lost 6mil. (according to latest tally) so they laid off a bunch of teachers. boxx and i stretched my ears teh other day, thogh we used somethign tha tcan rust, so now my earsa re kinda fucked up and im gonna have to pay neil to get 'emn repierced i bet, oh well, ill just get them cored out to the larger size i wanted, 8 gauge i think

went to school for 1 hr then had a client call, they had a virus, and mcaffee half deleted it, but only after it had hosed all the exe's so trendmicro's online virus scanner foind nothing, norton 2k2 found nothing and i fdisked the mbr to be safe. fucking weird thing it was a 40gb drive, with a fat16 partition,(yes i know this is impossible)

people keep asking me if im alright, i seem quiet lately is everything ok? its weird. i feel like something is changing but i dont know what, perhaps im goign through my next brain-growth. is this the final one? its a kind of listlessness. im not causing any trouble anymore, im not contraversial, just plain. ive become plain. its sickening. that and i think im worrieed about the future. i have a job here. that has been said, though it may consist partly of being a junior estimator or project engineer, both things that i can hardly feign interest in. had i my druthers, i would be a tattooist. i feel like im not only ignoring my art-side but completely amputating it in the near future.

woke up real late with steph, she figured we should get up cause it was late, she didnt want her parents to think we was a foolin' around. her mom made us a good breakfast (around 1p) then i went home. the plan was to get into the studio and paint all day sunday, i ended up only going in for 2hrs~. got what i needed to get done, done.

march 9th
went to steph's dad's sport-night fundraiser dealie. got roped into setting up and taking do the thing. steph and i had more or less settled in for the night, then at midnight we got called back over to take the thing down. it was fun i guess. wasnt really my scene so i couldnt get comfortable. the dancing mostly consisted of a really bad track selection and old drunk teachers. though my name is not larry, so thats a plus.

work, then school. have to know umpteen bajillion slides for n00b art history teacher. she set up her quizzing different than any other arth class ive had. instead of familiar 15 slide id or so + 1 or 2 essays, wee have 4 essays that are based one pages and pages of slides that we have to know all about. this wouldnt be too difficult if the art was at all interesting, such as it was in contemporary arth. here we have a portrait, and another portrait, and a shitty landscape, and another shitty landscape. early american art hisotry is just pure ass. the imagination these guys possess was null and void.

somehow i lost a day in there... the last entry was supposed to be for the 28th. thogh i dont care enoug hto fix it. friday steph came over and we were special and i had CS practice fo reh big match that was on sunday. then saturday we went wine tasting and i thought up a new plate and i got new pants a new shirt and new shoes. it was a very nice day. steph put her head on my should while we walked in sonoma. she is sweet. sunday we woke up late got dressed later and then she left at three or so. we didnt make it to the beach liek we thought we might but oh well. we did have a picnic at buena vista winery the day before. lindsay came home this weekend, i barely saw her. we inivted her to go do stuff with us but it didnt work out. sunday shawn's car broke down in inverness right as i was about to goto bed so i went and got him and didnt get home/bed till 1:30 then i had to wake up early to take him to school. he needs a good cheap car. i changed the front page. that way ppl might hopefully goto the doodle section first if they are first-timers. plus i was bored. im goign to do somethign new with this. ive been looking at 3com.com i like their design, sans JS. steph left her jackets and watch and eyeglasses case and wine at my hosue so im goign there after work today to deliver them to her. server is still running great, boss complimented me on the performance of the vpn aspect. his experince is now better form home. we lost the cs match on sunday. we let them play with HLTV installed on their server. if i had known what it was, if any of us had known what it was we would hav denied it. so we got ghosted... live and learn we fought hte good fight.

today there was an art dept field trip to nathan oliveira's show in SJ. i didnt go, fuck fieldtrips and crowds and stuff. i wen to work instead, which is a good hting caus ethe mail server went bongo. qpopper kept trying to resolve back to local ip address, (even though allow_host_relay was set for this class) and so then it really b0rked but rob id'd the problem then fixed it. good ol' hot python codin' action. i didnt have a proper bind db for my lan. durh me. look

woke up the usual way, with work calling me to fix something (i.e. hold someones hand through mapping a network drive) they should "it would be in their best interest to" hire me fulltime. new painting will be a robert longo esque portraiture or so.

today was first real test, got pulled in a million directionsby the users. got a lot of them resolved but none of the other half of my job (the whole marketing graphics thing) :) so i also set up a vpn server on that server today, my old netstructure 3110 was b0rking with ISC's DHCPd poptop works good though.

ok, today got the comms server back up, set up debian, with kernel 2.2.17, masqing, dhcp, httpd, samba, ftp, ssh, and of course, email (exim). stress-ful. not too mention that server was the PDC with no BDC ( i didnt set this up) so i had a rinky dink way of authing users for files, that is holding for now.

oh shit. guess what died? thats right the comms/mail server, 2 of the 3 scsi drives died. 1 was system, and 1 was 1/2 of the raid setup. ouch. comms server, running nt4/sp6/iis/xchng5.5 my goal for 2002 was to replace NT with linux, i guess nows mychance

lordy. had a paitning crit today, it went good. well recieved, the areas i knew i needed to work on were pointed out not htat they were bare but things i thought might need more oomph. anyway so that went good and i worked on superplate some more. then i went home and worked on it more yet. its soo relaxing having only one studio class. plus im still getting work done on plates without hte kurt aggravation. ill upload proofs sometime soon i guess, i dont think ive ever scanned in the one plate ive been on and off again working on since last june or july.

feb 18th
woke up with steph, took our time didnt relaly ahve to be anywhere. did i mention neensy finally got the sentra back form the mechanic? took 3 freakin weeks. anyways. went to school and painted. got done painting and decided to stop by print studio. saw what newkid was doing. it was good, almost too good, so i busted out with 3 proofs with a new state. decided that im gonna split the plate into a 3rd of what it was. the middle third looks good the rest is not worthy of keeping. also decided to go crazy on a plate. so im not gonna give up my place without some kinda fight. i hear the guy is actually really nice. hes doing a bunch of hr giger shit now. if you know me you know i love giger, but damn, it sticks out like a sore thumb, looks all ghetto metallica cover art tributey. technique is good, subject is notgood.

we wen tto teh city today to go see the dada/surrealism show at the palace. im into the dada ideal/idea but i think they took it too far in execution. good theory, bad execution. the surrealism stuff was awesome, i shoulda been born in the surrealist time, i woulda fit right in. perhaps its time for newsurrealism? we could call it newsur. later on we met up with stephs folks and had dinner at colare in north beach. we got there just in time, like 15minutes later the place was super croweded, but when we got there it was empty. diunner was good then we went for coffee and desserts then home. then we had soem more dessert ;)

today we went to a wedding of our friends. cicely and brian got married. they had a mass-wedding (as in catholic, not as in creepy cult, well not as in super creepy FOLLOW THE LEADER cult. hmm no i mean ok it was a wedding with a mass that was catholic. well you knw what i mean, the culty kinda religon that is frowned upon, not the culty kind that has been around forever.) so i tried to be as insolent as possible during all the godmumble parts. steph knew all that shit on cue. its weird watching your sweetie get groovy with god. i axed her about some of it later and she couldnt remember it. i guess a lot of it is pavlovian in response. at the reception i had so much fun. we danced like all night and i drank a lot of wine and champagne and we met new friends and it was great. later on we went home and i was still kinda drunk and steph fell asleep on me and then her mom just sent us to bed. ( i was asleep, dont know)

ah yes. today i finished my sonoma country day school graphic, and got it sent over to printhouse via secretary. steph came over and guess what she had made me? a heart-shaped berry pie. her first pie-making experience. it was good. she also got me candy. lots of good candy. i heart her to pieces. we went out to dinner @ the coast (lucas wharf) cause she is doing the lent thing and cant eat meat. the wait was long and the food wasnt that good, we both got fried dishes, not the best representational dish but it wasnt htat good fried food either, and boy dog was it pricey. (for what it iswas) btw, i love oysters, but there was definitely something wrong with those oysters.

i am a sneaky sweetie! i woke up @ 5:30 and went to vacabille and gave steph one dozne roses form henry's it was a big bouquet, i had told her all week previous that i couldnt see her on vday cause of school, but i got to surprise her in class, and boy was she surprised. then i hung around and waited till her 3rd period and we went for a coffee date, i love her so much.. this is the vday card i drew for her. also worked on painting too, (new state)

so chris pointed out that ive had the wrong month. its actually february not january. a server blew up today. i learned today that there are only 25 client licenses available for SBS... maximum. so 35 users later and ive got a license problem. im gonna switch that one over to some good ol debian, i was worried about my vpn hardware but itll be ok i think. so basically this server will be running exim/qmail dhcpd, sshd and thats it. pretty small potatoes for a mylex 8mb scsi raid and dual p3 450's w/ 384mb's ecc. today was rough, ill upload what ive been working on later. (its for sonoma country day school) full page ad. rich bitch stuff.

wen tto vacaville today, steph and i went and bought a wedding present for a weddign we are going to on saturday. then we went and lookign for dresses for her for same wedding. i hate shopping. i get all whiney. i just get teh 5yr old wanna sit down and not walk around anymore touching ever dress blues. so i did good though, i only complained a little bit. then we went and looked a thte car she wants to get, a 2k2 ford fuckus zx5 (four door hatchback similar to mine) then we came hoem and had a nice ham dinner, and then i went home and finished the apache snafu, i fixed par to fit this mornign before i left, the other part was just s imple i had the wrong ip resolving to vritual host by name directive. my bad. adlso i was using wrong serveralias. instead of a url i wanted a uri but ill just do that in the bind db for that domain. so here we go, the host and the hosted uNF uNF ready for rock and or roll.

so we went and saw black hawk down last night. only on our way out the door someone egged my car. so i cleaned it, then we noticed that stephs fcar got egged too. the sucky part is that the egging took actual paint off my car. so it sucks, lots of paint missing for a freakin egg :( i ve had the car for one month now. on the plus side i went to dinner iwth family over at halfaunts and anpped liek all day on her nice leather sofa. i want a leather sofa. so played iwth adams server some wmore, got most of the virtual hosting stuff working tonight, but broke apache so ill have to fix tommorrow.

drove home. that new car sure is nice to ride in. steph had to go home today :/ oh wells. i left my cell phone in her purse so ill have to go get it tommorrow. after she left i ended up going over to shawn's for a beer and to shoot some shit. i thoguth my first day of school was tommorrow, but it aint. school is tues/thurs 1-4p, we 4-6:40p. so easy schedule. i started doing exercises today. i am a big fatty. a gut is forming cause i havent done shit over break so im starting to work it away now.

went and saw my sweetie baby today. we saw a picture show, the royal tenenbaums. i am too souless and unimaginative to understand that i was supposed to be captivated with the characters and not want for something more. the entire movie was character setup, id point out at what point i thought the movie began to be a movie and not just an elaborate multi character profile but it wouldbe a spoiler. im prolly just not smart enough for the movie. i lack british wit. or mebbe its because over this break ive been watching tv. i feel more dumber. ive been reading james patterson at a rate of 1 book a day but i still cant make it through james joyce anything.

set up raid, reinstallated w2k from a format. tweaked the fuck out of system. she runs fast. not good enough so i spent the day o/c'ing. now she runs groin grabbingly fast. i have her clocked to 1595mhz (defualt is 1476mhz) so she is a xp1900+. im goign to go for xp2000+ as soon as i set up better cooling. she craps out righ tnow @ 150mhz bus but posts just fine. so i need tot find the magic numbers between 145 and 150.

went over to steph's. i got her sick. when i got there ew decided to take a nap and so we burrowed together in her little rabbit-warren sick cave and napped. it was nice. then her mom had to goto a meeting so i finsihed up dinner. we had veal roast, mashed potatoes with eh skins and a nice salad. yay us. met up with adam later. his technology guy is screwing him over. so i might be re-setting up a server for him apache, ssh, ssl, ftp, pop3, smtp and the like. certainly not a lot of work. even less if i can take other guys's bsd scripts over to bash.

slept maybe 3 or 4 hrs last night, i am sick (stress related) and worrying. im goign to be pretty piss poor for a coupla weeks. so ive been worrying about if i shoudl really be doing this or what. its a rocking car (got a red one with sunroof, manual.) this is what it looks like. ive been tlkaing about it all day and knocking on wood so i dont jinx it. only when i have the keys ain my hand and all the reg info filled out will i become excited. (and smiley) i have 30days to sell my sentra. it needs $300 for the installation of a new timing chain tensioner (100 of rpart 200 for labour) and it needs the original springs put back in. also it could prolly use a new set of passenger shocks (not very expensive) im goign to sell it for low blue book o.b. ($3,070) its got 78k miles, power everything, tokico shocks, eibach sport springs, aftermarket alarm and dents in the left side. if anyone knows someone that could use this email me. my parents were tlakign about paying it off and giving it to my sister. she gets kind of pig headed sometimes and wont listen though. she doeesnt understnad that once i put hte springs back in and new shocks it will be a confortable ride. oh well. neensy if you read this call mom, we cant get ahold of you with your phone and email down.

s-pent 6.5hrs detailing my dcar, broke all the pieces down and cleaned and cleaned. found out where the perfume smell was coming from when i got the car. a cheap little girls bottle of perfume was lodged in tehhousing for the e-brake skirt/cover. so she's all cleaned up. then i went to mazda and worked out a deal. ended up im paying (roughly) 6-700 below sticker and $600 above invoice. worked out to $25 less than the price i wanted to pay (so im stoked) im also kncoking on wood right now cause i dont have the car yet. tommorrow we goto CU with invoice/single pay purchase order and get the CU to cut a check, then i get car. so im tryying to not jinx it.

went out to breaky with li real early in the morning, ti was good to see her. went car lookign again today, foudn the one i want, a 2k2 mazda protege 5 (mp5) its fucking awesome. i wasnted too impressed while driving the automatic, but te manual is serious fun. sucker handles better than my sentra too. and fast. woohoo. so im gonna take my mom over and drive her around in it, cause if anyone can find something wrong she can.

i picked up my parts today and installed them, its pretty fast, HL fps went up to limit, and stayed there, riupping cds is fast but in general i dont feel any speed increase over p3 800. steph is over. sean came down form ferndale and surprised me.

so i applied for a $15k loan today. gonna go testdriving this weekend. i have til the 22nd more or less, school gets back in. i got a book today "the C programming language" by kernighan and ritchie (inventors of the C language) i also got a camera case. shawn and i went bookstore cruising tonight i hadnt seen him in awhile (still ahdnt given him his xmas present) so that was fun. got a mocha so its 11:34p and im gritting teeth madly. tommorrow steph is coming over and i need to remember to take pics of canvas. i got a full set of new rapidograph's tonight for $30 a savings of like $90 or so. yay shawn's roomates. i guess i should scan some pages in my sketchbook too. i took pics of my room for neensy (new desk ent center etc) but since im updating this via ssh/vi im not gonna bother with href's for pics and ftping pics right now. ill do everything in one fell swoop once i take the pics of latest canvas. i cant fucking wiat to get back on plate shop has been closed (they hid the key) so i havent been able to reground it. jan 2nd

hi. we had a great time, monterey aquarium is super good. avoid both salinas an dhte steinbeck museum. it is boring. the wharf in monterey is cool, we walked there at night alot. it rained most of the trip, but it was clear enough when we were out and about. so there was no spa in room, but htere was a spa avail. i lost my contacts swimming the first night. i bouht a new desk, now my room is more convenient. iill take pics later, MY NEW CAMERA SHIPPED! canon s300 come to me. wish i would have had it at the jelly fish thing. the jellyfishes rock. so i can travel now. i have no p3related traveling problems anymore. steph helped me and now im all better. if you kmnow me you know why i dont travel. and if you know why i dont travel you know why its such a big deal that i can travel now. kitten chunks left an hour ago. we got to spend 5days together. yay us. i cleaned a truckload of computer crap out of my room yesterday. i found a compute rint eh process. also a laptop, but i knew that was there. so the compute ri foudn was a k6 266, 32mb, 1.6gb, 4mb ati, awe64, tx chipset, 3com pci. i was surprised,. so now i gotta find someone who needs a computer.

steph and i are goign to monterey for the weekend. i just got monday off too, so providing i dont have to meet with exchange bank's technician for security, i can possibly stay in monterey till tuesday. we are goign to see cannery row, the john steinbeck thingee and the aquarium. vacay for p3! my last real vacay was in late '95. btw, i scrapped truck plans and am getting my car fixed right htis moment. apparently i shouldnt need EXPENSIVE PART so i can just get car fixed for cheap. leaving me a large sum of cash that i had been saving for downpayment on truck.

hi. i woke up early like a mofo and got a shitload of errands done today. i am all caught up, i even had time to fix a coupla computers for jon. ordered a new set of shocks for my back end. koni red's now it wont be such a crappy ride. also got a haircut+ today. the "+" is for the really weird vibe i got off the chick giving it. so if there is anybody lonely out there who wants a lapdancehaircut goto the michaels' place in coddingtown. taught my dad how to get his pictures from teh digicam i gave him to the internet. now that takes me out of that loop. ordered an abit kr7a raid, xp1700 and 256mb's pc2100 ddr today.

went to dinner in vaca with steph. jdrove 2hrs or so to get there and then i wasnt ehre mor ethan a half hour or so and shawn called needing a ride back to SR from near napa/sonoma luckily he found someone else. bought a 128mb cf card today and ordered a canon s300 digicam. now the pics i put up will be of quality a+.

we woke up kinda earlyish, steph hasnt been feeling well. :/ ate, read newspaper, normal sunday stuff then she went home and i went to the studio for cleanup. someone stole a print form my portfolio, shawn thinks kurt (our printmaster) did it, ill aks him on monday at lisa's party. the gallery broke yoram's refridgeerator piece all to fuck, i helped a little to move it out, its in pieces now.

im uploading pics here and here fixed my laptop, when they mounted the cdrom to the cdrom assembly/chassis they sherared a screrew so i replaced it and now it seems to be working a lot better. I applied for graduation. dept head signed off on it. so next semester i take 2 classes and im out. cept i think ill take 4 so that i dont lose health ins and car ins. so ill take adv paitning, adv etching, american art history and yoga or some other silly nonsense. A lot of people are graduating form art dept this or next semester. a big change of guard almost. the old lot is moving out and me and shawn are picking up the little bits. they let us get away with so much there. as you can see from the state property in photos above. they gave us that bill board for all of next semester and so on. also we get another one that we can move around. so im gonna have to fenagly my name into the commencement announments. as i applied acccidently for august grad instead of may. durh me, dept head says its ok and not a propblem and theyll get it fixed but heres hoping anyway. i have to tkae pics of my latest painting and scan in my latest state of my plate. i should also upload hte PPT doc of the book animation.

i got steph her bday present. she gonna like i promise. /me snickers and gets shifty eyed like a shifty eyed dog. so i had a bitchin wicked rad weekend. i printed my portfolio today and i printed like i never done printed before, ab-fab amazing style i impressed myself cause i pulled a series of 2 and they came out the same and they are great. my plate is lookign hot, i put this new face up on it and its got a little somethign special to it, ill have to scan it. tommmorrow im goign to finish up my painting with a little acrylic/xerox transfer (in banner either "WYT PKT FNC or SNDY PNTR") so then a little bit more ball point an dsharpie action and thatll be done. gonna clean up animations for drawing and thatll be it. theory should nt be a prblem, we got snctioning to graf up the billboards in art dept for apiece all through next smeester, so we started now for theory. imagine being able to do whatever you want to your school shawn and i seem to get away with anything. /me sighs. of course tommorrow is monday so well see how it goes over :) kkbye

my sweetie went home and i got to work, i assembled the pshop doc im going to use to project to start new painting, and i did a lot of work on my final for drawing (sketchbook animations) so i modified all the scannings i have so far and uploaded them (per shawn's orderings) so here they are so far, check back daily cause these are states of pages. and they tend to change a lot from day to day. feh i may make some simple giffy images of the animations just for fun to put up, dunno.ok talked to shawn, there is n/p between us he's gonna tlak to jasper. we thoguht about making it a long performance piece, shoving matches, spilled ink, ripped drawings and what not but i doubt we do that. on a good note, i fixed my nokia 8260... it has been making a rattling noise and turning itself off, so i got out my knife repairing tools and cracked that sumbitch open... a screw that held the antennae to the body had gotten loose and was apparently causeing a short. so its all fixed now.

boy am i glad novembers over. steph axed me if i was ok with november the other day, and i said i was but ive defineitly been feeling it. ill upload the pics from the last paintings and youll see.

today is a day. i gesso'd up 2 canvasi yesterday. i found 6 3'x4' canvases behind a dumpster (by "i" i mean shawn) frank said that they were of the quality to be sold for $200 a piece (for stretchers) they were constructed several months before i was born. how is that. for. neat. the lady had them in some gallery in la, they were crappy acrylic NEOGEO line paintings, easy to replicate, one was cool the rest was hippy dippy shit youd expect out of a 1979 acrylic painter from LA. my next painting is going to be of a sunday painter. i.e. a painter in a grage witha still life set up on the hood of a station wagon with oily rags and boxes stacked all around. im not a painter. im a printmaker, if im a printmaker im a drawer. got more compliemnts yesterday on what im doing form the professor man. animatory sketchbook is coming along, professor offered his help in any way to make sure it gets done right. i got no sleep last niight, puttered around. adam introduced me to a guy that is going to fix up my cardents for $150 and detail it too for when i sell it. he says he can make it cherry. he also has a hook up at all the dealers, so he is goign to help me get a tacoma for teh cheapz. my green crewneck sweater is falling apart, all my maroon cardigans are falling apart or lost. i need a thick olive or sophie-green sweater. but you dont know my palette sophie green is jan sophie green, kind of a pukey yellowy green, not kelly, darker kinda. mix cerulean blue with cad yellow hue and youll kinda get it.

drawing crit went well. i think people were into my small bible book. i need to start scanning it so i can take it to the next part of the piece (animation of the evolution of the drawings within it) traded 2x30gb ata100 7200rpm (300bb/32aua's) for 1 ibm deskstar (60gxp not 75 :)) 61gb... now i need to find someone who wants to trade a couple of 30's or 40's or the 60 for a WD 100gb drive (mebbe one with the new 8mb cache hint hint) i could see myself trading 110gb's or 120gb's for one 100gb. i did a lot of work if anyone needs 3x30gb WD's all with same specs model and sub-revision for a RAID setup lemme know. but im thinking of trading off all 3 30gb' and mebbe 1 40gb or the 60gb. end result me == 100gb or more on one drive. so i have a quiet pc now. i was O/C'ing for awhile, then i just dropped a diff mobo in here (intel eea2) so it dont require much, so when i was drive tinkiering last night i noticed that even though i had only ONE 80mm in my machine it was making the majority of the noise. since ive stopped o/c'ing my gf2mx i disaabled that fan as well, replaced the 1 80mm todaya and now its all 386ey quiet. i lub it so far. i can still here pitch from the 2 7200's i left in there but damn.

got my t1 today, my procurve was being funny so i couldnt make one of the prots an uplink, so i was making a pass through crossover cable with coupler, but that didnt pan out. i finally got it working htough so that is good. (atg's little access panel box was broke but i bypassed it) so yeah. bad day. everything bad. wanted to roll outmy jobsites, but ended up, everything else broke so i worked for 11hrs.

yesterday i took a long long time to print somehing (1 large zinc + 17 small plates) and it failed, and i was so frustrated and sick i just left, despite the crit being today. the crit went ok. i went to bed at 6p last night and slept for more or less 13hrs~. im feeling better today. mark and kurt pulled me aside and said i had talent and im lost and i need to develop more and be more ambitious and stuff. so i should just stop sleeping and spend all of my time in the studio.

woke up like we normally do on sundays, went and retrtuned some pants i had bought that were too tapered, and returned my dvd player, it was out of motherfucking warranty by 1 day. but i had that 4yr warranty thing so it was all good. so i got real mad (first time steph had seen me mad) and i only got half screwed by best buy. since i had gotten it open box they wouldnt exchange it unless i payed the difference in price, finally they offered me a replacement for half the difference and i made sure i wasnt getting screwed (i can exchange in the future, warrranty transferred) so i paid $55 and i have 2 remotes, 2 power cords and i get a free dvd. we then went over to shogun for sushi but they dont open till 4:30 so we cruised copperfields for awhile, went home then came back. had good stuff. later on we got coffeess (2nd caffiene drink for me in a week) and then went for awalk around my neighborhood. after that she was super buzzed and ended up making me dance with her to her old fashioned music. so we danced for abit but then she had to go home and do grades for her class :(((

ok i wen tto the UCLA vs Stanford football game in palo alto, that was loud and peopley. then we went to a party in vacaville for steph's fellow teachers, then we drove over to rohnert park to one of my coworker's halloween party. its weird seeing coworkers drunk + high. we dressed up as 50's kids, totally looked the part got compliemnts and everything. i pompadoured my hair iwhit tshirt with lucky strikes rolled ina sleeve, dark jeans cuffed with white socks and slip on shoes. comb and switchblade in back pocket. stpeh had tiny flat shoes with dark jeans rolled, white socks an over sized mens white shirt sleeves rolled and my leather jacket and a cutey red bandana in her pony tail. when we got to the second party a bunch of the girls ahd dressed up as the pink ladies from grease so it went well together.

u fucking bastiges. no t1, mother fucker didnt even call. GRR. got $1300 worth of mailers back form teh printshop, they all look like crap. i had called to get the printshops color profile so that i could calibrate as needed, mother fuckers didnt know what i was talkign about, so i sent a long a color proof to my calibration, printed as a proof, as i wanted them to output. so they have chaanged stock and printer. what we ended up with looks like utter flaming crap. fucking ass-clowns, that and their blackvalues always have a gloss finish whereas the rest of the spectrum is matte. also anywhere ther is pure black you can see roller marks . h8 them

my T1 should be in place tommorrow. todayi started 4 canvases. spraypaint is so much better than oils. anywya i plan on doing 20-30 canvas's in the next several weeks and putting up an installation for my crit. i dont like how stagnant our fucky little art dept is, esp. the ghetto-ass painters. last 1 was on a 8ft door, this'un so far is one 3 piddling 2'x3' and one 1.5'ish x 4'ish. i plan to vary it up a whole heck of a lot. i dunno if you fools are familiar with mark ryden. this is gonna kinda be more twist, mark rydenesque. i still havent foudn my voice but ill be damned if its goign to look like the other badart coming out of ssu.

got a late start on the day, rolled out of bed around 1 or 2 or so. i tried my hand at cooking freezer hashbrowns in this pan, but the olive oil didnt respond well and they started to stick and burn, so i moved on to the next skillet, and proceeded to burn it too, finallyu steph got them to cook up in a teflon. so 3 pans ekls hashbrowns. owe went to the mall so i could pick up some cuff links for a shirt i had just bought that i want to wear tommorrow.this one jewelry store guy completely fucking trashed me, so we said fuck him and went and bought them at a diff store. got them 50% off @ $120 so yay, i was hoping to spend less than $150. steph wanted to pick something up for her mom (the previous mentioned present was for her dad to give to her mom) so i suggested we drive back to the city, so we spur-of-the-moment went back to the city and picked up a scicilian ladle cozy-holder thing, then had dinner at volare's (voltare's? (sp) ) good stuff, after that it was coffee and desserts at cafe grecco.i had my first cafffeinated beverage this week. im doing acres better.

we got an early start on the day (for us ;) uNF uNF) and went to the city to the academy of science. then we went over to norht beach and she picked up an italian biscotti jar from biordi's. i bought some ricotta cheese cake and cannoli for dessert later on at chris's house. we booked back to SR after that and went over to chris and janay's for dinner. chris had made some good lasagna, so we had that and a nice bottle of home-fermented cabernet that he had recieved as a tip form one of his customers.later that evening scott and sam came over, i had not seen them in a long while so we had a good time just making conversation and so forth.

fuckign hot day today. i did my traffic schooling online and got 100% :) so yay me. rented memento to test out my dvd players dvd functionality, but it was all wavy and crappy and going form dark to light. then i remember something i had seen saying to plug it directly into composite on the tv, so i did and she worked beautifully. weird movie too. couldnt get to sleep right away cause i was thinking about it.

wen tto vacaville then to renn-faire then to shoppping, i got new shoes, rowley van's geoff rowley 0wnz on j00. i wear his shoes therefore i 0wnz on j00. they is comfy. my adidas shell toes were lookign nasty and i had forgotten what comfortable shoes were like. stpeh bought me jelly belly flops. we had a gyro pita, mezza plate (tunisian) some homemade ice cream and berries, saw belly dancers, freaks, weirdos, hippies and a really funny guy callled moonie. he was so funny i swear i havent laughed that hard in a long time. go to ren faire to see him. i like doing all this stuff that i never did before.

went to davis to have dinner with lindsay and steph, ate at fuzio's then went to vallejo for one of steph's dad's football games. vallejo is a shit town, im truly sorry for anyone that is from that little ass of a shithole. today leah callled our lunch order in and when we went to puick up the pizza form marys she realized she had ordered it form the other mary's in petaluma.

2 more crits out of the way, i secretly videotaped my class crit today, using my homemade video camera for par tof the piece, went over good. got a talking to today. bought a dvd/mp3 player today, supposed to be $200, got it for $69. panasonic dvd-rv31. the only sucky thing aout it so far is no id3 tag support and the way it lists mp3's out for playing. alphanumeric order and no shuffle. but it waas supa cheap so im not complaining. what else. oh yes, pulled my own cat5 into the studio :) school was charging $600 so i did it for free whats more i "found" a key to the rackmount casing :) ran my own line form the switchbox to our studio via ducting, the switch shares our wall so no great length. what it does mean is i can icq/aim/yim/msn/email and run a server form the studio, im building that computer on sunday. i also dropped a spare laser printer in there so we can do research whenever. its pretty fucking rad. i have a headache right now and im starving, but im jazzed at my new rig. (new amp, rad vcr, rad dvd etc.) ok late.

school today, finishing up one of 2 prints, started 1 of 4 large drawings for adv drawing, talked with mark about my grad requirremnts, i have 6untis left 1 adv studio course and 1 upper div art hist class. im really thinkign about BFA. then i can get mfa and teah uni if i want.i love steph alot so feeh on you . someone *cough* frank*cough* broke the giant press last night. kurt was mad, they may have to replace it ($15k) i went and talked to paul in IT about gettings some cat5 strung intot he studio so wii could set up a webcam there . it costs $600 to get new cat5 pulled. that is such bullshit. so he suggested having one of the prof\'s request it so we can get eh school to subsidize it. shot the shit with him for awhile. asked if we could get sshkeys to be user writable so i can fucking ssh from school to my server. sounds like a possiblity soon, i guess they are using all iis now but swtiching to unix soon. someone needs to telll them that both can be unsecure, its jus the level of admin. so if by switching to unix they think they are making their job easier they are going to be in a world of hurt. you can already su blank form teh liberry now. dunno, theyll figger it out.

worked, went to sheraton jobsite, upgraded filemaker pro 5 to filemaker pro server 5.5 didnt relaly make a big performance increase so i set up performance monitors to see what was goign on. it did make a bigt difference in the field though so go figure. ranc0r says to drop all the clients down to 10mbps HDX (they are 100fdx now) which makes sense

had school till 7, couldnt drag my ass back into the printshop so i went home, and i went to bed at 8:30. i got my own set of keys to the print studio so i can come and go as i please (iu also have my own private studio) that big presentation was today, i guess it went ok, they relaly liked the presenation package i had put together, so lets see if they remember that later.

went and saw steph last night after work, we had a hard time finding a restaurant open at 9:30 but eventually landed at IHOP :/ there wwere like umpteen trillion 15-18yrolds in this large party there. steph is about to be a subsititute teacher for 2 classes at vaca-high school. so last night was a little preview. boss charged me with the duty of dumping video from a dvcam today. has to be done by tommorrow. i have plans tonight so im scramblin tyring to get it. went out and got a 1394 cable (4p-4p 6') come back here to find out that i dont have premiere6 local like i thought. so im gonna have to grab it tommorrow. the problem is file sizes are max 2gb, dv is 2gb per 7minutes :) and i have what i think is a half hour to transfer. gonna go to dinner and a movie tonight i think. hopefully i get some sleep topo.

sorry for hte lack of updates, ive staqrted working full time and im pretty wiped. bought benchmade "big spender" knife, it broke yesterday so i took it back and got a smith and wesson HRT boot knife and a kershaw model 1600 assisted open knife (switchbladesque) got my laptop it fucking rocks, using the same settigns as my home computer i get 95fps in four.dm_66 demo. dell shipped me 2 laptops and 2 printers. they charged for the second laptop so i am sending it back. the printers were free though so sucks to them. i was a secretary today i guess i did a good job i stayed busy all day and helped ppl out and shit. once school starts back up the normal secretary will go back to full time (she is taking time off of rkids so i am takign ovver on mondays and fridays) i sure like being the network admin over the secretary gig though. computers and equip aint shit to fix, runnin around and filin' and shit is harder. anyway im gonna veg.

ok today was a Get Shit Done kinda day. changed oil, changed coolant, washed car, gassed up car. Deposited checks, finished, delivered and set up a system and did some other shit. found $20 (in my old wallet) i think i finally tracked down teh problem in my main macheen too. upgraded the resolution of the webcam to 320x240 as well. oh while i was getting my oil changed i did this i will optomize thos enad put them in the right place tommorrow.

july 18th
went to steph's las tnight for dinner, her parnets told her they like me :) god i love that girl. anyway we went to hole-in-the-wall mexican place but it was good stuff. re-ordered my laptop today, never got confirmation form yesterday so i called and said what the fuck chuck. anyway so now im getting 512mb's instead of 256, upgraded warranty (i can drop kick it on purpose now) and other free cool stuff and free next day shipping... it was supposed to be an extra $250 or so but they comped it so it was only an extra $30. but with tax that drove it back up again :) oh well Jughead, ill have the rockinest laptop in all of Riverdale. mebbe Betty and Veronica will pay me a special visit.;)

went out to dinner with kelila. had the meeting about laptop today, it so worked out good, they buy laptop, if i stay here for 2yrs its mine to keep, if i dont i can buy it for 75% of its market value at that time, if i dont want laptop they pay me 25% of its value.

w00t, good day today. steph and i didnt know what we wanted to do so we decided to goto sausalito for some calamari strips.. on teh way to sausalito we decided to goto SF to goto north beach pizza (best. pizza. ever.) then we got gelato at gelato classico... we wandereda round the italian town forawhile, then wandered into china-town. i ofund a knife i wanted to buy, but ill wait on it as i dont even need it in my wildest dreams. later on we went to cafe greco and had coffees. its been a perfect weekend with my girl. i sat out in the sun for like 3/4 of wyclef's new album, i am beet red now. carputer is back up and running. shawn is leaving for europe tommorrow, im goign to be chronicling and posting his daily stuff so you guys can follow him around europe. hell be gone for a month. we had a shot of jaeger, hes going to take my bag there. lets hope he dont get hisself mugged

client call today, got paid 1/2 what i was supposed to, but the guy didnt know how it worked so meh, whatever. Without a laptop(my best tool in the field) i am pretty much stuck. i ended up using my carputer to fix up this guys computer.. it was a pretty funny sight. his hdd in my trunk, a cd in my dash and the monitor in the back seat, all running. steph came here, we went and saw AI with chris, janay, josh, sam and scott it was something. dunno what though. it had robots, and computers. no monkeys midgets or candy though.

slept in all nice today, then we showered and took off for several errands then to the beach for clam chowder. ended up getting calamari too. was reeal overcast and windy so it was ok, just ended up taking off driving through teh coast and redwoods. dad found a cockatiel and brought it home. the thing is so cute, its all nice and gives kisses and falls asleep all the time. it seems pretty young, definitly not as mangy as the one that i found. neensy wants to keep it, but who knows.. she has to pay a pet deposit at her new place if she does. might be getting a 2nd job. stay tuned pthreeketeers

work is either going to fix my laptop, or buy me a new one. joyous fuckign day lemme tell ya. i got more ram today, 512mb's in this box, all micron, 1/2 crucial, 1/2 pc133cl2, 1/2 pc100cl2. fuckin a. need to get HPT366 and ata66/w2kp all working nicely, so that i can really take advantage of this ram. steph is coming over tonight and i took tommorrow off, cause shes got the day off, we gon' have fun, sho' nuff... that is if it stops rainging and being murky tommorrow.

june 24th
watched movies and did not a damn thing today. tooo lazy i need to get my ass back in the studio. cleaned my room all up, vacuumed, warshed everything, im gearing up to do my big move-out sweep of the room, its an everything must go event. only problem is i dont know where im gonna be going. i can pay about $600/mth rent after all other bills for my half, but realisticaly if i dont want to live super scary close to the bone i should only pay like $4-500. it dont look like shawn and i are going to find a place like that. little baby jesus is crying for me i assure

went to steph's place later last night... we had a nice night and a good morning. went to some little coffee house breakfast place and had a big ol' breakfast. good stuff. she got her haircut which added at least 19.31% more hottieness. went to sadie's grad party today pretty cool. watched o brother where art thou. oh, fucked up big with steph's parents, might be awhile till i can go over there again ;)

june 22nd
i have a walkthrough at an apt complex @1:30 wish me luck, she seems nice and lenient. *update the apt is iffy, bigger bedroom is a loft, although it is a floor to itself, and the place is a condo (1ft thick walls) and each room has its own bathroom. the place is also within biking distance of school. i would be in a room with no walls or a door so essentially im paying $600 for a floor and a ceiling. as hectic as next semesters's schedule will be (4 adv studio classes + gallery work and regular work) ill prolly be too tired to care. shawn is looking at it tommorrow, if its really sucky after 6mos we could always move. oh yeah, 2 new doodles

lazy damn day didnt do much of nothin' mebbe drummed up some new business, got a haircut, bought some pyjamas for steph. the haircut place relaly sucks now, haircuts went up another $2 to $16 now, and the service is even worse... this is by far the worst haircut ive had in awhile.

moved into the new office today i guess its ok. ordered an INDE-STRUC-TABLE (table) so that i can not have my equipment dfalling through onto my lap. right now the table my shit is on is bowing seriously. gba released today unofficially. went into napa and had dinner and ice cream with steph, it was nice.

spent the day with steph in vtown and sacremento. we went shopping </valley girl> and looked at dresses and i made fun of absolutely everything. we went to utrecht and looked at easels too. i think i can build one that is pretty good. slept at her place we had a fun day together.

i worked a lot to day, 13.5hrs, steph came to work and visited me. got a bunch of stuff done. got a ticket on the way home from work, by a sheriff. id go into all the details, but im not gonna.

got kicked out of my office, they are moving me, they are moving me into the supply room, they moved all of the supplies out so i have a little room, no windows but its not a cube. i have a dooor. i was pissed at first but they are going to let me design my own office and then they are going to build it for me.

lazy day today, no work or school. got called umpteen jillion times this morning. all the computers wanted to break on my day off but its cool, nothing i had to go anywhere for. had lunch with steph at school, went home and tried to watch tv, that didnt work out and i ended up working on logos for business's's. we went to wednesday night market tonight and got gyros. i didnt even freak out to bad in the crowd. i didnt realize i hadnt paid for my gyro until like 2hrs later when we were getting malts and floats at foster's freeze. lucky me im a cheater monkey.

went to work, standard stuff, then after work steph and i had dinner then went to screamin' mimi's for ice cream. after that we went to the beach and watched the sunset. drove down 1 and took bodega into petaluma fixed a graphic for work then back to SR and had a good nights sleep.

june 4th
great day today, took car into mechanic this morning, turns out nothing was really wrong, so 2 belts, some clean posts and $78.80 later and i got a happy car. my mom bought a '01 toyota camry today its a sweet ride. work was good, steph is in town and i visited her at her work then went home. i had to bike from my house over to n. dutton-y area to get car. we had pizza tonight then went to treehorn books where i got the little nemo book ive wanted to mimic some style from (biter i know). i have two big ol' zits on my neck. i look like frankenstein. im not sweating it though, life is way too good right now to worry over 2 zits.

just been moving steph out of her place, last night got super drunk with shawn, ended up puking a lot (i know big surprise) went and saw moulin rouge t'other day, pretty rad movie. afterwards adam kendra and kevin came over, they were acting all weird or something i dunno, figure it was prolly just kendra. my car died again, i fixed it again but im going to go to a mechanic tommorrow to get it figgered out straight so i dont have to keep having a dead car every month. had a lazy day today, now that im back in my house and am not at school 24/7 ive cleaned up a bit. im going to start doing a final cleaning, shawn and i are going to try to get a place in RP tommorrow (for when he gets back from europe) mostly everything of mine im tossing so if anyone needs a bunch of p75 and up mobo's and cpu's and other misc hardware lemme know. here is me, im a fatty.

may 29th
uploaded some doodles gonna upload 3 paintings in a minute. today was so hot and i spend like all day on the 101. i put a lot of activity on my card over the weekend buying work stuff and whatnot, so i blew through all my money, even though i depositied like $700 between atm deposit yesterday and regular deposit today. the way they were esplaining it it sounded like i had no cash, but then they figured out that they did something wrong, so i can now go see pearl harbour tonight :) it was just kinda freaky cause my card was declined when i tried to buy a candy bar, a soda and a pack of gum. had a dentist appointment today, id broken off some corners on 2 of my teeth, but they patched me up in no time. my arms are sore from lifting furniture and im hot and complainy.

spent the morning moving, then took care of a lot of chores. ive put 37K miles on my car since i got it in april '99. got a haircut, my oil changed, good thai food, and bleached my hair.

last final was on thurs, went great (crit in painting) ill upload pics of it soon when i do doodles (already scanned). went to steph's parents had some good dinner at a nice restaurant, went well. nice folks. friday was a super productive day got all jobsites working at once, with 0 errors and was able to produce a log that verified (yay me). also set up auditing for all outside the office folk's so that i can start generating reports showing usage and justification of the high monthly access bills. went to kurt's place for american bbq portfolio exchange. i got wiggy which is odd since i knew everyone there, i usually only do that when i dont know anyone, or mostly everyone. so i was all twitchy and quiet and just trying to get the fuck out of dodge. my painting professor was there too and he mandated that i take 2 weeks of vacation (he knows that i work too much). i think our print went over well, some remarks were made by students and prof's that led us to believe we had one of the top prints of the 15 there. i got my own kurt kemp print (of 18) which is actually kinda cool cause he shows places and is in the legion of honour and stuff. went to graduation yesterday, then steph's place in vacaville. didnt know anyone, but her dad and mom were cool and so i didnt feel super out of place. other stuff happened in the last several days but im forgetting it now. i havent been home in a week so im gonna wash clothes and chill.

Shawn and i are going to pull the prints today for american barbecue portfolio swap. after that im going to vacaville with stephanie to meet her parents and drop off things. wish me luck.

ok i didnt call the doctor, but i did start to clear up all my little problems. i ate 3 times today! yay me. got sheraton, hotel healdsburg and casa madrona jobsites all finally hooked up. as i was leaving the sheraton jobsite, some dingus with a weedwhacker cut through the conduit containing the pairs for the remote office's hunt group, killing all the work that id done, but they repaired it.

im gonna call the doctor tommorrow. ive lost a shitload of weight (size 28 jeans now) i barely eat, and then only once a day, and im not hardly sleeping at all.

best. date. ever. ok this is gonna sound really weird to all y'all i know but chek it. i (me) (eric) had fun in the city. ok now pick yourselves off the floor and read on. the night started out with a dusk-night walk along the piers and beach/store fronts in sausalito (sausalito is great) then we went into SF and had ourselves an adventure. we went to north beach to a little cafe, the palace of the legion of honour to see the thinker and the fisherman's wharf thingy (we went into the ripley's museum there). the night ended quite pleasantly moments ago. as it is now 3:36am i am going to take my goofy grin to bed, so night. im gonna get me some culture now.

may 17th
got sleep on the 16th w00t. dont remember what happened much that day today's crit went great. 1 crit left and one paper. i still have to do a giant drawing for someone elses' final, but i spent my time tonight kickin it with stephanie 'n folk in room 135. i am also doing the american barbecue assignment for kurt's etching class. i didnt know how that would fly since im not actually in the class so me and shawn are collaborating on zinc for it. pretty rad plates so far, gonna finish them and etch and print 21 of them tommorrow. soon i will be updating my doodles section. ive got oodles of doodles to share. i am smiling 100% now. gonna get some more clothes tommorrow, stephanie is gonna help out so yours truly wont look like such a bum anymore

read until 6am this morning, expected to sleep for a long while, but my big jerk friend from NY called cause the #channel was watching my webcam and thought it might be funny to wake me. so i got 4.5hrs of sleep and therefore felt like doing nothing today. went into school to paint but was way to tired and hot to think about being productive. also nix'd plans for going and seeing BFA opening @ mills college. highlight of this day would be the 21" monitor adam is giving me. viva la adamo

may 5th
went into work around 4:30pm today, upgraded a bunch of computers and fixed the GODDAMN SHIT ASS HELL VPN. i 0wnxx0red it hardc0re. now it works, correctly, black interface mgr, w2k clients, you name it, hell ipsec/ike even works. so i am god rawr. im gonna laugh at the guy who config'd it originally if i ever see him again. static ip's to access DHCP/WINS info? puh-lease luser. no shit it couldnt bind anything. that concludes nigh 2years of supporting a bullshit config, it only took massive breakage to correct. domino's delivers(tm) to work, which is good to know, now i never have to leave. wow how lame am i? excited about working till 1am on a weekend night. hmm

may 4th
car just about died today, i guess my alternator belt was too tight or something... i was going to replace it and backed the adjusting rod all the way off of the tension wheel, but it was stuck, so put everything back and it was fixed! damn thing hasnt been quite right since i got my alternator replaced in november. so its friday evening, i decided not to go back to work tonight i think. trying to ween myself off of working so damn much. need to paint tonight. im so fucking tired

this art thing was at school. got drunker than i have ever been before. ended up in the bushes with these 3 hippy chicks, then later on in the night i was making out with some 30yr old. i dont remember how i got there i remember wandering away i think. neither of my pieces got in the show. whacked my head real hard, monkey climbed up a tree other stuff happened but i dont really remember. if that 30yr old starts shit, im calling man-rape on her, if any guy had tried that shit our collective asses would have been PC jailed faster than shit

may 2nd
yesterday felt like an everything go wrong kinda day. intermediate portfolio review occured, only i misunderstood and thought the works were to be evaluated today so i only had several pieces to show. was told that i did very good though which is heartening. so im at the big decision of etching or painting for next semester. dunno. registered today too. submitted second piece for student art show today, i will find out if either got accepted tommorrow... one piece was a 9"x12" study of a bottle (oils) t'other 2"x7.75" etching. feelin' ugh but what else is new

stephanie was a real peach and modeled for me again, now i can start a new painting yay me! gon' larn me some chiarascuro. and yes, we like stephanie. your editor mistakenly deleted both the CF copy and the backup copy of photos on HP so i lost 30 shots. duh me. i also doy'd up and forogt to piccy the newest painting, which is bad ill have to remember before i paint over it.
