work. got more stuff done today then i've been able to get done in the last several weeks. got marketing copy back, boss had written "good job!" on it, so i scissored it off of the page and taped it to my monitor. ern came to work for lunch, there werent very many people to meet as most folk took today off. we had portuguese for lunch, sammiches were slightly dry, soup was bland. the coke was good though. after work i picked up my car from the mechanic where it was having new oil put in it. there was a drunk driving/sobriety checkpoint @ 5:20p on a friday.. odd. then they were waving everyone through. i was supposing that it was more of a sting thing to wait for either a specific car that took that route, or they were mebbe looking for something else. drove up to SR, dropped shawn's jacket off with sil, picked ern up for dinner. we went back to the brasserie. so friggin good. i had rare ahi with foie gras, ern had the dungeness crab gratineed swordfish (what i had last time) had a few drinks, killed my bug. i had freaked out at work a little bit, i think i may have just been tired or something. had a nice mousse and some iced cream for desert, waiter brought a martini by, on the house. went by target for girl supplies. home. it was a very big day.
