gym, home. we had planned on going to the beach but ern had a study group she forgot about. i beat hl2, so i went back to the beginning with the super duper weapon and had some fun. not too much though, i wandered out to the living room around 2 and started reading the da vinci code. and read and read. ern played uper mario64 on the ds till her study buddies came, then i took my book outside with my pipe and some eggnog and brandy and read some more. read read read, then mombo's for greezy-peezy. more reading, oh and then i finished it. too much hype around that book. i expected it to be more science and wonder and less bruckheimer. oh well.
crit?: 2joint checking, error free ds and set up a component video system switcher that i picked up last night. it was 1/4 the price of other ones i've seen but the downside is that it doesnt have optical audio switchers on it too, just component, svideo, ethernet and composite. seems to do the trick well enough though. checking account is open so now we can reserve the date for the wedding @ josef's. andrea hibbard called and officially invited me to show @ A street in march so i officially accepted and i am now officially excited.
crit?: 1it was the second thanksgiving of two, in the martinez, with the ern's family. had a great time, shot the shit, worked on a puzzle, saw her cousins. on the way home since it was early still we decided to pick up a ds and mario64 for it. came home, ern layed with it for a long time, but it has a dead pixel on each screen so i have to exchange it tomorrow. also tomorrow we're opening up a joint checking account.
crit?: 0first thanksgiving of two, this one was @ my parents with my family. ern made cornbread stuffing and cheesecake, both of which went over well. i got to see my two cousins who have both aged and grown considerably since i saw them last.

the opening was tonight, huge turnout for the general block art thing. seemed like a pretty positive crowd, and after i drank some courage i was able to talk with people without fidgeting out completely. people bought stuff and seemed interested. we left for kendra's bday/jay&rob's housewarming. they had a bouncy punchy ring thing. it seemed like most of the people we talked to were going to the same party after the moxie thing. i've got pics, i'll upload them later.

today @ lunch a head on happened in front of my car. then after ern and i hung the show we pulled up behind this mercedes @ a stop sign. a 20~ yr old hispanasian kid got out and walked a little ways, then looked back at us and tucked a gun into his waistband, in the small of his back. then we got cheap indian food. halflife 2 keeps crashing. once i finally got it working, it now crashes with map 0 expected 19 then a memory read error. :( i even paid for it too! i can't remember that last time i've done that.

it went to work, it was pretty busy at work doing it's work and other work for others. it framed up the last of the pictures, then it bought half-life 2. it watched half-life 2 begin to preload 4.5GB. it has a small elven girl humping on it's back. it's small elven humping girl tumour sucks though and couldnt find a hole on a whore.

i stopped by moxie to talk with martina and pick a wall. that went good though now i'm more nervous. on the way back to the car i saw andrea hibbard in A street so i ducked in and worked up the gumption to talk to her. we talked for a while, which was nice. A street is having an opening the same night as my show/opening so there might be some nice cross traffic.
i'm nervous about:
1. sceney indie kids not caring about the art.

3. Kurt, Mark & Will
4. not having a strong set of images. i'm wondering whether i should dip back into the portfolio, or just use all post ssu stuff.
