A few questions, here goes.
Is it finished?
Is it valuable to show us what it used to be, or does that ruin the mystery/presence of the object?
This is such a departure from your drawings that I'm pretty confused about where this came from. That might be a good thing.
Posted by Zach at May 30, 2007 06:39 AMSorry for the lack of details. A fellow had dropped this wood off last night for me to start drawing on after someone had knocked out the shape I wanted. I wake up throughout the night and invariably check my email. He had emailed me some photos so I threw them up on the site.
He had requested progress shots, which I usually do, but I've gotten out of the habit of posting them all the time. I figured posting a starting shot like this would be beneficial, and it might pique curiosity.
So no, this object isn't the end result. It's basically a canvas for me to start working on, much like that train or munny doll I did previously.
